Hello! My name is Jessica Lutz and I began twirling baton at the age of 7, after finding my moms old baton. I have been fortunate enough to have competed in baton competitions provincially, nationally, and internationally during my time as an athlete.

I have completed the baton certified coaching course and have been support coaching for a number of years now. My experience coaching has led me to find a passion for working with young kids. I am now going into my final year of the Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership Program at Fanshawe College, and strive to attend Teachers College in the following years.

Throughout my time involved in the sport of Baton Twirling I have developed lifelong friendships, and developed a passion for participating in the sport. Whether you’re a recreational athlete or a competitive one, Baton is a sport that supports a sense of self and belonging all while having fun! I am very excited to be coaching with Vivacity Baton in this upcoming season!
